1969 Holden Monaro

Probably the last big restoration I will take on for the rest of this year is underway now at the shop, due to the increasing work load with accident repair work we are seeing.

The matching numbers, 307 cubic inch Chevrolet powered Holden Monaro was delivered for what turned out to be, a small amount of rust repair for one of these old cars, and a full strip and change of colour option. This car is in pretty good condition for one of these old icons and it will be a relatively easy restoration and an excellent vehicle when its completed.

I am committed to having this project finished by the end of the year for Roy, so he can enjoy cruising in this cool old muscle car over the 2009/10 summer.

While its having the body totally restored we will be fitting a new set of wheels and tyres, body rubbers, suspension and brake upgrades and Power Steering will be added also to make it more of a pleasure to drive with the new big tyres. As usual, all of the work will be done in house, by myself and staff and we are looking forward to the final result.

Body colour/colours and wheel/tyre combination, ride height etc have been set by the owner and the overall look will be awesome. Keep and eye on this one over the coming months.
