0 commentsWhat can I say? Everyone elses cars take priority and with it having been such a busy start to the year to date, my cars are getting very limited attention.
The body on the big VL was a bit of a job to get perfect however the 21x fibreglass Walkinshaw body kit components where an even bigger job!
I have spent 72 hours this year on the body kit alone, simply reinforcing the individual parts, filling and repairing them to better than original condition. I anticipate about 44 hours are yet required to complete the work on the full compliment of the body kit parts. As happens with time and evolving products and technology, I have been able to rectify and improve on the original parts and expect alot better durability and longevity from them in the future.
This project has become a massive investment of time and resources and has become a huge restoration in comparison to other projects I have done recently. I have given up on predicting completion on this car now however I will have it and the “Big Banger” completed by next summer.

0 commentsWow, what a fantastic start to the year. We have been absolutely flat out with insurance work and if you have been into Brads already, you will know why. We never say NO, and I guarantee that we will start repairs on your car as soon as approval and parts arrive or at least advise you if we can’t work on your vehicle right away.
I am hearing more and more from customers recently with cars sitting in panelshops with weeks and in some cases, months delays while they clear their backlog of work? At Brads, I personally work extra hours and often up to 7x days a week to make sure my company delivers repairs in an acceptable time frame.
Marney and I are fortunate to have an awesome group of guys working for us, who all share a common interest and passion for vehicles and respect for our clients So when its required we all work the extra hours and weekends to reduce the disruption for you as much as is possible.
