I’ve got the bug. Building cars for customers has reminded me of what it was that first hooked me on motor racing.
The memory of first watching Peter Brock steering a V8 Torana around Bathurst and for me personally the ultimate GM Touring Car.
Referred to as ‘The last of the big bangers’ the VK Group C Commodore was the pinnacle of the ‘Sledgehammer’ looking Touring Cars before new modification restrictions changed their look forever.
With 11″ wide rear wheels, massive wheel arch flares, aero wings and a fire breathing 308 cubic inch V8 engine/5-speed.
